This is a great video from Durham, NC Ladder 1. They arrived as the 2nd due Ladder company at the Royal Oaks Apartment on October 6th, 2009. Ladder 1 was assigned to open the roof. Ladder 1 went quickly to work and did a great job opening up the roof. The fire ended up going to 2 alarms.

This is some amazing footage of a man rescuing a child from a burning apartment building in Bronx, NY. This footage has been all over national news. The guy is a true hero. The child survived and is okay! Great job by the FDNY and hat's off the rescuer!
