Raw Video: 1-alarm single story house fire in Westminster

Oct. 19–The Westminster fire company responded to a house fire in the 1400 block of Old Westminster Road in Westminster on Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

The one-alarm fire, which began at 4:48 p.m., resulted in a structural loss of $30,000 at the two-story, single-family dwelling. It took 45 firefighters about 20 minutes to control the blaze, which began behind the home.

No one was injured in the fire, which was discovered by a passerby. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.
