Raw Video: 2-alarm warehouse fire burns vehicles in Florida

April 03– declares the a two-alarm fire that blazed for over an hour Monday afternoon at an Opa-locka warehouse is under control.

About 33 units were fighting the fire that started around 4:30 p.m. at the American Fruit & Produce Corporation warehouse, 12805 NW 42nd Ave. A Channel 10 report says several explosions were reported.

According to officials, “The contents of these trucks is unknown. We’re not sure if they had anything in them, but we were aware there was fuel in the vehicles,” said Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson Maggie Castro.

The Gratigny Expressway’s LeJeune Road-Douglas Ave. connector exit was closed as was part of Northwest 128th Street. The detours clogged surrounding streets in Opa-locka and Hialeah.
