Firefighters with San Bernardino County, California Fire Department performed a safe and aggressive attack on a single story residence in the City of Victorville on July 10th. Crews faced an abandoned house with heavy fire to the A side (front). Due to a large population of homeless people in the area these structures are commonly inhabited which creates concern for Firefighters searching these structures. This fire demonstrates the benefits of SBCoFD with regional resources to support fires as well as provide station coverage for the units assigned to the fire while maintaining adequate staffing for the region.
